Michigan Fallen Foot Float Parade

The Michigan Fallen Foot Float Parade is an annual non-City event that is created and organized by Michigan Fallen Foot Float. The annual parade honors veterans by creating a foot float where volunteers carry a sign for soldiers lost in Michigan or a MI unit, in Ferndale during the Memorial Day Parade.

Click here for a map of the parade route. Volunteers meet at the corner of Livernois and W. Maplehurst, the route concludes at the Memorial Monument located on Livernois and W. Troy Street. For more information on volunteering, contact ferndalefootfloat@gmail.com or visit their website.

The event moves through the public parking system downtown. There is no on-street parking to accommodate the parade route, but visitors may still park in one of our many city public parking lots.
