The dot Early Work DELAYED

Early work at The dot site, originally slated for Wednesday, Aug. 21, has been postponed to Thursday, Aug. 22, due to inclement weather.

The dot construction crews will begin work early on Thursday starting at 6:00 a.m., to pour a major portion of the concrete for the Level 1 deck slab. The work will begin earlier than the standard 7:00 a.m. start time due to the time sensitive, weather dependent nature of the work; it will be completed by the end of the afternoon.

Residents and businesses in the area may notice lights and an increase in concrete trucks through and around the site on Aug. 22. Republic Parking will have a downtown ambassador on site to ensure that street traffic and deliveries run smoothly. There will be no additional street or pedestrian closures as part of this work.
