New Parking Pricing Structure

As a reminder, the City of Ferndale’s new parking pricing structure and enforcement hours will go into effect April 1, 2019.

·        Hourly parking rate will increase from fifty-cents to $1 dollar per hour for metered parking throughout the city.

·        Enforcement hours will change to 11 a.m. through Midnight (versus the current 10 a.m. through 9 p.m.) Monday through Saturday.

These changes were recommended and approved by City Council and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in February.

New signage will be placed in all City lots by Monday, April 1 to reflect these changes, making guests and residents aware. Updates will also be made to parkferdale.com and the Park Ferndale app.

As a courtesy, Republic Parking will be issuing warning citations for the first week of the new enforcement hours.After the first week, normal ticketing procedures will be in place from 11a.m.-midnight, Monday through Saturday.
